Hi there! My name is Tim, I’m 26 years old, and I live in Stuttgart, Germany, with my fiancée Kathrin—soon-to-be wife, as we’re getting married in May!
I’ll be studying Product Design at UC Canterbury in Christchurch and can’t wait to start this new chapter. Creativity is at the heart of who I am—I absolutely love working on ideas, exploring new concepts, and bringing them to life. Outside of my studies, I’m someone who values the little joys in life: I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, and taking in beautiful landscapes.
From 2019 to 2020, I traveled through New Zealand and fell in love with its beauty, culture, and people. I’ve missed it ever since and am excited to return—not just as a traveler, but to truly experience life there from a different view.
I’m looking for a warm, welcoming homestay that feels like a second home during my studies. I’ve grown up with pets and get along well with them, so I’m comfortable living with animals around. I’m happy to help around the house, share stories, or even cook a German dish! I’d be so grateful to share this experience with you and get to know Christchurch through your eyes!
